Ingredients
Tea
- 3 family size tea bags any brand will do but stick with a black tea
- 2 cups loosely packed fresh mint leaves
- 1 33.8 oz bottle peach nectar
- 1/2 12 oz can of frozen lemonade from concentrate thawed
- 1/2 cup simple syrup
- 1 liter ginger ale chilled
- 1 liter club soda chilled
Simple Syrup
Instructions
Simple sugar Syrup
- bring 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar to boil until sugar is dissolved. Chill to room temp.
Punch
- Bring 4 cups water to boil in medium saucepan; add tea bags and mint leaves.
- Boil one minute; remove from heat. Cover and steep 10 minutes. Discard tea bags and mint.
- Pour into a 1 gallon container, add peach nectar, lemonade, and simple syrup.
- Cover and chill 8-24 hours.
- Pour chilled tea mixture into punch bowl or pitcher. Stir in ginger ale and club soda just before serving.
