Ingredients
- 1 + 2 cup + Tbsp butter
- 2 1/4 cup sugar divided
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 cup all-purpose flour divided
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 cup chopped fresh peaches
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350; Grease 10 inch pan with 2 Tbsp butter and sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar.
- Cream remaining butter; gradually adding remaining sugar, beating well.
- Add eggs, one at the time, beating well after each addition.
- Add vanilla and almond extract, mix well; combine 2 & 3/4 cups flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add to creamed mixture, beating until well blended.
- Mix remaining 1/4 cup flour with peaches. Fold peaches into batter.
- Our into prepared pan. Bake for 1 hr & 10 minutes.
- Remove from pan and cool completely.
